Dear God,
This whole chapter of revelation really struck me hard but this verse hit me the hardest; especially this sentence: “It doesn’t cost anything!”
When I read it, it immediately struck me as true.
The idols speak deceitfully, diviners see visions that lie; they tell dreams that are false, they give comfort in vain. Therefore the people wander like sheep oppressed for lack of a shepherd. – Zechariah 10:2 Today’s Reading: Zechariah 9-12; Revelation 20 A few months ago I saw a really impressive guy speak. He was there to teach on words of knowledge and he did so by actually conducting a workshop. For the uninitiated, “words of knowledge” is one of the spiritual gifts. Someone who moves in this gift can know specific things about another stranger’s past in a supernatural and specific way that would be impossible without having met them before. Let me tell ya… he was impressive.
“Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.” – Revelation 19:7 Today’s Reading: Zechariah 5-8; Revelation 19 Dear God, I see that we are the bride of Christ; but when I first heard this I thought it was one of the stranger things I had ever heard. As a man of course it is strange to think of myself as a bride. I was raised to think of protecting, serving and providing. So what is the role of the bride? What am I to do?
