Isaiah 63:17 NKJV
O Lord, why have You made us stray from Your ways, And hardened our heart from Your fear? Return for Your servants sake, The tribes of Your inheritance.
Sometimes life makes us feel this way. Bad things happen and instead of drawing closer to God we pull away in anger and sadness.
In these times remember that God is our source of everlasting love and comfort. He loves us whether we are happy or sad, nice or angry. It is better for us to come to Him with our pain that to not come to Him at all. Like a good Father should, He will be there to listen, comfort and answer the cries of our hearts.
God we come to you with all of who we are. We will no longer only come to you when we feel good but we will come to you in the fullness of honesty and truth. We trust that you will love us through the dark valleys and lead us to Your green pastures and still waters.
