Thankful

Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls— Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. (Habakkuk 3:17, 18 NKJV)

It may seem like everything is falling apart. Maybe you have problems with your relationship or no relationship at all. Maybe you have problems with your job or no job at all. Our present circumstances can seem like impossible mountains to climb.

But we have been promised salvation from our troubles. Instead of focusing on the problems try to focus on praising God for what He has done and what He has promised to do for us in his word.

The more we focus on the problems, the more problems we will have. The more we focus on God's goodness the more fuel we will have for our faith. And it is this faith that will move mountains.

What are you thankful for today that God has already done? What are you thanking God for what has yet to come to pass?
